Our client is a leading global private markets investor with a rapidly growing private credit platform. As the business continues to scale, they are seeking an ambitious Loan Operations professional to join a lean, high-performing team in London. This is a broad and highly visible role offering exposure across the full loan lifecycle, working closely with Investment, Finance, Treasury and external service providers. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational excellence whilst helping to build scalable processes capable of supporting future growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational management of private credit investments throughout the full loan lifecycle.
  • Coordinate loan settlements, fundings, repayments, amendments and restructurings.
  • Manage trade settlement activity and monitor settlement pipelines.
  • Investigate, reconcile and resolve cash and trade breaks.
  • Maintain accurate loan, counterparty and static data records across internal systems.
  • Perform reconciliations between portfolio management, administrator and accounting platforms.
  • Support cash management activities and operational controls.
  • Work closely with outsourced service providers to ensure timely and accurate servicing.
  • Assist with onboarding new transactions and ensuring data integrity throughout the process.
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation and operational scalability initiatives.
  • Partner with Investment, Finance, Treasury, Legal and Compliance teams on day-to-day operational matters.
  • Support the continued evolution of a best-in-class loan operations function.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–8 years' experience within Loan Operations, Loan Servicing, Middle Office or Credit Operations.
  • Experience supporting private credit, syndicated loans, leveraged finance or broadly similar loan products.
  • Strong understanding of loan mechanics, settlements, fundings, repayments and servicing processes.
  • Experience investigating and resolving cash and trade breaks.
  • Strong reconciliation and data management skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple operational workflows rather than within a highly siloed environment.
  • Experience with loan administration, portfolio management or settlement systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail.
  • Naturally proactive with a willingness to take ownership and seek out opportunities to add value.
