My client is a European Private Equity firm with an HR team led from London but offices in Europe, North America and the Middle East. The HR Manager will be going on maternity leave in July meaning they will need cover for 12 months starting in June.
The Role
- Provide day-to-day HR partnering support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, engagement, development and offboarding.
- Collaborate with international colleagues (Luxembourg, New York, Paris and Dubai) to deliver consistent, high-quality HR support.
- Manage onboarding processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate system updates and a positive employee experience.
- Prepare employment documentation, including contracts, confirmation and reference letters.
- Ensure HR and recruitment activities comply with employment law, internal policies and data protection requirements.
- Support HR projects such as system implementations, policy updates and process improvements.
- Assist with recruitment coordination, including job postings, interview scheduling and candidate pipeline management.
- Maintain accurate HR records, policies and compliance documentation.
The Candidate
- Minimum of 7 years experience in an HR generalist, advisory or junior HR Business Partner role, within Private Equity or Investment Management.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using HR systems (HRIS), with familiarity with BambooHR advantageous but not essential.
This role is relatively flexible and could even be 1 or 2 days working from home. When the work is done you’ll be trusted to know you don’t have to be in the office. But when you need to be there then you need to be there!
