Share Plans & Reward Manager β Investment Management
Β£65000 - Β£85 000 + On Target bonus of 20%
My client is an established investment management business looking to hire a Share Plans & Reward Manager into its London-based HR team. The business has a collaborative culture and offers considerable exposure across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for two specialist areas of reward: the administration of employee share plans and the management of regulatory remuneration deferrals. There may also be an opportunity to become involved in broader HR activity, making this a varied position with good exposure across the business.
- Manage the end-to-end administration of employee share plans, including grants, vesting, exercises, forfeitures and lapses.
- Run annual grant and vesting cycles, including calculations, documentation and participant communications.
- Maintain accurate share plan records and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders and external providers.
- Support associated regulatory, tax, accounting and reporting requirements.
- Manage annual share scheme reporting and statutory filings, respond to employee queries and provide ad hoc management reporting.
Deferred remuneration
- Manage the end-to-end deferral process for variable remuneration in accordance with applicable regulatory remuneration requirements, including MIFIDPRU.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure deferrals are calculated and processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain appropriate records, support remuneration policy reviews and regulatory reporting, and liaise with relevant external providers.
HR Generalist (Optional)
- Provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, leavers, employee queries and maintaining accurate HR records.
- Support annual HR processes including salary, bonus and performance reviews, as well as wider HR projects and process improvements.
The candidate
- Good experience of managing employee share schemes, ideally gained within financial services or a listed business.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with complex data and deadlines.
- Able to work effectively with senior stakeholders and teams across the business.
- Good Excel skills and experience of EBTs and HMRC share scheme reporting.
- Knowledge of MIFIDPRU remuneration requirements would be useful but is not essential.
- Some broader HR experience within financial services would also be helpful.
