My client, a highly regarded global investment management firm is hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead in-house recruitment across its international offices. This is a pivotal role focused on reducing agency reliance, strengthening direct sourcing capability, and building a scalable, cost-efficient talent acquisition function.

The volume of Recruitment at this firm is small due to its size, however it is very international in scope and extremely high touch. In addition, while not busy acquiring talent, the candidate will be assisting the HR department in a more Generalist capacity, especially with updating procedures. There is even a good chance of this role being made permanent at the end of the contract, depending on how successful the candidate has been.

  • Own the Talent Acquisition Policy and resourcing budget, ensuring all hires are approved in line with governance.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR to define role requirements, candidate profiles and hiring strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor on recruitment matters.
  • Source high-calibre candidates via LinkedIn, networks, referrals and direct approaches.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from briefing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Develop clear job descriptions and recruitment materials aligned to business needs.
  • Screen and assess candidates to produce high-quality shortlists.
  • Manage offers, including compensation discussions with HR and hiring managers.
  • Provide market insight and build talent pipelines for key roles.
  • Maintain candidate and industry networks to support future hiring.
  • Support long-term talent acquisition strategy aligned to business goals.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion through fair and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Develop best-practice in-house recruitment processes to reduce agency reliance and ensure consistency.
  • Maintain accurate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Produce recruitment reporting and insights to support workforce planning.
  • Promote the employer brand throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR and Marketing to strengthen the firm’s talent market presence.

Proven track record in direct sourcing and building talent pipelines using LinkedIn and other tools. 5 - 6 years experience ideally within investment management, or financial services. Strong commercial awareness of the investment management and finance talent market. Strong analytical and Excel skills, including budget management and tracking savings from direct sourcing.

4 days a week the role will be based in the Office (although they are pretty flexible around drop off / pick up for those with children).
