A brand new role has been created to manage the London office while reporting into the HR Director, freeing them up for more global responsibilities. This position will be one of three equivalent positions, one in each geography, and is therefore integral to the global HR structure as well as essential in the London office.
The Role
- Manage the London office.
- Run day to day HR Operations.
- Look after Employee Relations issues, only escalating if necessary.
- Run the monthly payroll through the third party provider.
- Own the policies and procedures and ensure they are fully up to date.
- Run with Recruitment.
- Participate in global HR projects.
The Candidate
- At least 5, probably 7 years generalist HR experience within Private Equity or Investment Management. Global Markets Investment Banking experience may also be relevant, however Private Equity will be prioritised.
- Full understanding and experience of UK Employment Law.
- Bachelors degree in HR or related subject.
- Personal qualities as well as professional knowledge is also important. This means being able to read the room, not be a clock watcher, be punctual, be flexible and of smart appearance.
- CIPD 5 (or working towards).
- This is a hybrid role with a certain amount of flexibility. 3 days are in the office with 2 wfh.
- There is no way of gaining visa sponsorship for this role so candidates must be UK Citizens or have ILR.
