HR and Operations Associate – Private Equity
My client is a London‑based private equity firm investing across emerging markets in businesses driven by demographic growth, innovation, and digital transformation. The firm has a strong commitment to impact and ESG, engaging actively with global responsible‑investment initiatives.
The Role
A broad HR and Operations position supporting a wide range of people, administrative, compliance, and investor‑related activities within a fast‑paced investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, performance processes, and internship/mentoring programmes.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, recruitment, training, development, and immigration requirements.
- Support compensation cycles, maintain HR systems, and provide data for due diligence.
- Handle compliance checks, KYC, data protection, and onboarding requirements.
- Support deal process administration, fund operations, and documentation management.
- Assist with insurance renewals, investor communications, and website enquiry management.
- Maintain policies, procedures, supplier records, and general operational frameworks.
The Candidate
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR and Operations role.
- Background from a buy‑side private‑equity, private credit, venture capital, investment management or asset management firm; other backgrounds are not considered.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and HR systems.
