About the role
Reporting to the team leader, and working closely with the broader Finance and Administration, Investment and Investor Relations teams, responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the ESG risks for portfolio companies and potential investments, engaging third-party specialist support as required;
- A key member of the ESG Team, sharing thought leadership research on ESG and ensuring policies and procedures are up to date and in line with best-in-class standards;
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for investors, management and leverage providers in relation to ESG;
- Assisting in the annual ESG data collection process, analysing and benchmarking portfolio company performance on key ESG metrics;
- Collating and analysing both public and private data sources in relation to ESG considerations;
- Assisting in the delivery training on ESG topics to the Investment and Investor Relations Teams;
- Building reports and dashboards for use in monitoring ESG portfolio performance;
- Liaising with the Investor Relations team to produce marketing materials in relation to ESG performance, as well as answering ad-hoc investor requests.
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience in financial services / ESG
- A minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint skills;
- Understanding of financial markets;
- Have strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
