Based in the West End, my client is a long-established Private Equity firm focused on backing high-growth businesses across emerging markets.

An opportunity has arisen as HR and Operations Manager, reporting into the HR and Operations Director for 15 – 20 months and then slotting effortlessly into his place when the Director retires. In other words, this is a well-planned, well thought out extended combined apprenticeship and handover.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance (KYC) and support data protection processes.
  • Assist with insurance renewals, investor communications, and policy updates.
  • Manage employee relations, HR administration, and immigration processes.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, performance management, and HR systems/records.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, internships, mentoring, and training initiatives.
  • Support investor due diligence and HR data/reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical ability – Interprets data to drive sound decisions and efficiency.
  • Adaptable and agile – Comfortable operating across multiple disciplines.
  • Solid project management capability – Delivers projects on time and to standard.
  • Sound HR and employment law knowledge – Strong grasp of best practice and regulatory requirements.
  • At least 7 years of UK experience, the majority of that experience must be in Private Equity although depending on responses, other Alternative Investment experience might do.
  • Strong and relevant Bachelor's degree.

4 days will be in the office with 1 day working from home.
