Who are we looking for?
At Carne, marketing is not a support function — it’s a growth engine, a storyteller, and a bridge between who we are and the clients we serve. Led by our first Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, our team is on a mission to unify and elevate our marketing discipline into one of the most strategic drivers of the firm’s future. Together, we are crafting a clear, consistent, and scalable way to tell the Carne story — with discipline, creativity, and joy.
We’re looking for a Marketing Director who thrives on shaping strategy as much as delivering results — a leader who can think big, act decisively, and bring others along with them. This is an opportunity to guide a talented team, partner with senior leaders, and make a tangible mark on a business poised for continued growth. A candidate who is not afraid to jump in and help their team, roll up their sleeves and do the work.
What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
- Proven senior-level marketing leadership experience, ideally within financial services or other regulated industries. We require the candidate to have experience of our broader Industry and Carnes specialization including a deep understanding of our buyers and influencers.
- Mastery of integrated marketing strategy and execution, with deep digital marketing expertise.
- Strong track record of delivering measurable business growth through marketing.
- Comfort navigating matrixed, global organisations and balancing diverse stakeholder needs.
- Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insight into clear, actionable strategy.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for collaboration.
