Carne Group seeks a UK Operations & CASS Oversight Manager to support the UK Operations Team by overseeing processes undertaken by delegated Transfer Agencies and Fund Administrators for the UK ACD’s Funds. The role involves engaging with these teams to ensure high service levels and compliance with regulatory requirements. Based in London, ideal candidates are ambitious professionals aiming to develop their careers in a dynamic environment.
Minimum requirements:
- At least 5 years of financial services experience, preferably in operational roles within UK funds.
- Understanding of operational processes by Transfer Agencies and Fund Administrators for UK Funds.
- Experience in asset management operational processes.
- Strong knowledge of CASS regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing CASS processes provided by TA providers.
- Proficiency in Excel with an automation mindset.
- Ability to oversee processes, exercise judgment, and produce clear reports.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Monitor delegates and service providers for UK ACD Funds, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Oversee daily fund reporting and ensure timely actions.
- Prepare and deliver reports to relevant parties, committees, and regulators.
- Review and approve Fair Value or Swing Pricing assessments.
- Oversee NAV reviews, fund budgeting, and client money reconciliation.
- Gather MI for Oversight Committees.
- Review operational procedures and CASS resolution packs.
- Manage client money reconciliation breaks and CMAR returns.
- Sign off on fund expense payments and manage investor shortfalls.
- Ensure CASS processes and controls are compliant and well-documented.
- Review complaints and regulatory returns.
- Manage SLAs/KPIs with delegates and support RFPs and due diligence.
- Assist with onboarding and changes to Sponsor Funds.
- Implement and maintain new tasks and processes to standards.
- Escalate issues as per procedures.
