Responsibilities
- Work with the Delegate Oversight team on the monitoring of delegates and service providers for the CGFMUK Funds, including Transfer Agent and Fund Accounting activities, in line with the agreed Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators.
- Day‑to‑day oversight for all CGFMUK Funds, ensuring that all fund reporting is received and recorded on a timely basis and appropriate actions initiated as required.
- Support the preparation and delivery of requisite reporting to appropriate parties, Fund Oversight Committee and fund regulators within prescribed deadlines.
- Review and approval of Fair Value or Swing Pricing assessments as required.
- Review and approval of both pre and post NAV reviews.
- Oversee identification and timely resolution of client money reconciliation breaks.
- Manage investor shortfall requirements, coordinating with service providers to identify shortfalls, agree funding actions and evidence resolution in line with agreed procedures.
- Monitor the operations procedural review cycle ensuring updates and required approvals are secured.
- Prepare submission of CMAR returns, ensuring data quality, appropriate internal review within regulatory timelines.
- Ensure outsourced providers’ CASS processes and controls are detailed and in line with business and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews of CASS resolution packs and Client Money Acknowledgment Letters, ensuring documentation is current, complete and aligned to regulatory expectations.
- Ensure all applicable regulatory returns are prepared, reviewed and submitted accurately and on time, maintaining an evidence trail to support sign‑off and compliance.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise to support RFP responses and operational due diligence reviews, contributing input on oversight, controls, processes and service provider performance.
- Provide operational support for the onboarding of new funds under CGFMUK’s management.
- Provide operational support in relation to changes to existing funds, including share class launches, fee amendments and updates to delegate arrangements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of financial service experience in the operational aspects of UK authorised and unauthorised funds.
- Understanding of the operational processes performed by Transfer Agents and Fund Administration providers for UK Funds.
- Experience of operational processes in an asset management business.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the CASS regulatory requirements.
- Experience of managing operational processes provided by third parties.
- Demonstrated ability to provide oversight, exercise sound judgment in decision‑making, and deliver clear, actionable reporting on findings.
