Kitchen Deli Assistant Location: Church Street, Dromore, BT25 1AA Hours: Full Time: To be discussed at interview (Early starts required between 6:00am and 7:00am Finish approx. 2pm) Hourly Rate: Up to Β£13.00 About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Deli Assistant to join our small production team in Dromore. In this role, you will be a core member of our production team, responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging a range of quality products, sandwiches, and salads. Your work will directly impact what our retail customers see on the shelves, ensuring everything is finished to the strict standard. All training will be provided to give you the confidence and skills needed to carry out your job to the best of your ability.
What You Will Do
Fill workstations and prepare fresh ingredients to assemble sandwiches, salads, and other dishes according to daily production schedules. Operate packaging and labelling equipment, ensuring all products specifications are met. Strictly follow instruction protocols for cooling, packaging, and shelf-life management. Complete daily documentation accurately and adhere closely to HACCP procedures (including temperature checks, traceability logs, and strict cleaning schedules). Maintain absolute freshness across our stock by following strict stock rotation procedures. Work efficiently with a "clean-as-you-go" mentality, maintaining the highest levels of personal hygiene and work environment cleanliness.
What We Are Looking For
Reliability and a positive attitude, especially with early morning starts (6am7am). A keen eye for detail and consistency to uphold our brand standards. Strong organisational skills to keep up with daily production schedules and paperwork. A team player who communicates well and takes pride in a clean, hygienic workspace.
