Carnbrooke is a proud, family owned business committed to local sourcing. Following the success of our 2,500 sq. ft Butchery & Food Hall in Lisburn, we opened our newest location in Dromore in 2022. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Supervisor to join our retail management team.

The Opportunity

As a Supervisor, you are a vital part of our retail leadership. You will support the Retail Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations and take the lead in their absence. We are looking for someone with a natural flair for teamwork, a positive outlook, and the confidence to think on your feet. If you enjoy taking responsibility and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Motivate the staff to provide friendly, professional service and lead by example in food safety and stock management.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards within the Food Hall, ensuring the store is ready to trade by being clean, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
  • Sales & Growth: Identify opportunities to drive sales in specific categories while proactively reducing wastage.
  • Management Support: Prepare staff schedules, manage accurate ordering, and help oversee the training of new Retail Assistants.
  • Security: Act as a key holder, responsible for opening/closing the store.

About You:

  • Experienced: At least 1 year of experience in a busy retail environment, including supervisory or key-holding duties.
  • Great Communicator: Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Tech Savvy: A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexible: Comfortable working 8-hour shifts, including regular weekend work (Rotational).
