CF is a leading consultancy dedicated to making a lasting impact on health and healthcare. We work with leaders and frontline teams to improve health, transform healthcare, embed life science innovation and boost growth through investment. Our consultancy serves the entire healthcare sector, from healthcare systems and life sciences to health tech and sector suppliers. CF’s multi-disciplinary team provides end-to-end services, spanning strategy, finance, performance, organisational improvement, data and digital. We also create optimal policy conditions for healthcare advancements through evidence-based thought leadership, taking a proactive stance on key issues.
As an inclusive and values-driven organisation, we are committed to excellence and are honoured to have received multiple industry awards. With unmatched access to UK healthcare data and specialist data science expertise, our consultants are a driving force for delivering positive and meaningful change.
This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of health, innovation, and commercial growth and help shape how one of the UK's most distinctive health consultancies shows up in the market. CF occupies a unique position in life sciences consulting. We are the only firm that combines deep health systems expertise with real-world evidence (RWE) capability, policy influence, and transnational reach. Our Life Sciences practice doesn't just advise pharma, biotech, and MedTech clients. We help them embed innovation into health systems, drive uptake, generate evidence, and actively shape the conditions in which their assets succeed.
As our BD, Digital Marketing & Commercial Intelligence Associate, you will be the engine behind CF's market visibility and inbound pipeline across our Life Sciences and Health Investing practices. The work will ensure that the decision-makers who need to find CF, at pharma companies, PE firms, and portfolio businesses, can find us, understand what makes us different, and know how to engage. The role combines digital marketing, thought leadership activation, opportunity intelligence, and systematic pipeline support, and requires someone who can operate credibly in a specialist health environment.
Responsibilities
- Bringing CF's thinking to market by turning CF's intellectual output into compelling, audience-ready content that lands with pharma commercial teams, market access functions, and PE deal teams.
- Owning the content calendar, anchored in CF's service lines and priority themes such as innovation uptake and obesity.
- Partnering with practice leaders to develop thought leadership, case studies and sector commentary and calibrate it for the right audiences including medical affairs, market access and commercial functions.
- Driving pre- and post-event content around CF's conference participation to maximise every moment of visibility.
- Ensuring CF's digital presence reflects the quality and distinctiveness of our work.
- Leading ongoing optimisation of practice-level website content, keeping CF's differentiating strengths front and centre.
- Monitoring how CF is found, what converts, and where gaps exist relative to competitors.
- Staying ahead of the curve on GEO optimisation as AI-driven discovery becomes an increasingly important selection channel.
- Building a consistent, authoritative voice on LinkedIn and beyond.
- Managing CF's external channels with strategic intent, turning every publication, award, and major project into a moment of market presence.
- Planning and scheduling content, supporting leadership to show up consistently and credibly.
- Tracking external mentions and identifying opportunities to amplify and engage.
- Ensuring every channel reflects CF's positioning with purpose.
- Owning our conference and events presence by maintaining a forward calendar of priority conferences across pharma, biotech, MedTech and healthcare investment.
- Coordinating promotion, on-site visibility and post-event follow-up.
- Identifying speaking platforms and thought leadership slots that build CF's profile in target segments.
- Driving commercial opportunity intelligence by building a systematic, proactive view of where CF should be competing and making sure nothing slips through the net.
- Monitoring CRM at an organisational and individual client level across key targets.
- Tracking relevant RFP portals across life sciences and health investing including NHS, pharma frameworks, NICE, NHSE and MHRA-adjacent and using themes to inform future positioning.
- Maintaining visibility of existing MSAs and supporting practice leads to leverage them.
- Acting as the connective tissue between practices, ensuring our commercial and marketing activity is joined up, not siloed.
- Aligning messaging, content and campaigns across Life Sciences and Health Investing.
- Coordinating shared activities where audiences overlap, from PE-backed pharma services to health tech and hospital groups.
