Planner - Devonport Dockyard Location : Plymouth, Devon Rate : £340 - £390 per day (DOE) Contract : Long-term Contract Hours : Monday to Friday (Site Based) Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Planner to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure programme based at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-profile project delivering complex construction and infrastructure works within one of the UK's most important defence environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes to ensure the successful delivery of works. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and update project programmes using Primavera P6 Monitor progress against programme and identify potential risks and delays Produce programme updates, progress reports and look-ahead schedules Work closely with delivery teams, commercial teams and stakeholders to ensure programme accuracy Support planning and project controls activities throughout the project lifecycle Assist with critical path analysis and programme optimisation Contribute to reporting requirements and performance reviews Requirements Proven experience working as a Planner within civil engineering, infrastructure, defence, marine, rail, highways or major construction projects Strong Primavera P6 experience Excellent understanding of project planning methodologies and project controls Ability to analyse programme performance and identify issues proactively Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Previous experience working on large, complex projects is highly desirable What's on Offer £340 - £390 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications £50 lodge allowance per day worked on site if you live over 50 miles from site Long-term project opportunity Major infrastructure programme with a strong pipeline of work Collaborative and supportive project environment Opportunity to work on one of the UK's most significant engineering projects If you are an experienced Planner looking for your next challenge in Plymouth, we'd like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
