Senior Quantity Surveyor – Highways Location: Norwich, Norfolk Contract: Long-term IR35: Outside IR35 Sector: Highways / Civil Engineering We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major highways project in the Norwich area. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong QS with a background in highways, infrastructure or heavy civil engineering to join an established project team on a long-term contract basis. Key Responsibilities Commercial management of highways and civil engineering packages Subcontractor procurement, management and payment Preparation of valuations, applications and cost reports Managing variations, compensation events and change control Cost forecasting and CVR reporting Supporting contractual and commercial negotiations Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Working closely with project managers, engineers and the wider delivery team Ensuring accurate commercial records are maintained throughout the project Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor Strong background in highways, infrastructure or heavy civils Good working knowledge of NEC contracts , ideally NEC3 or NEC4 Experience managing subcontract packages from procurement through to final account Strong commercial, contractual and cost-management skills Ability to work effectively within a major project environment Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred Contract Details Location: Norwich, Norfolk IR35: Outside IR35 Contract: Long-term opportunity Project: Major highways / civil engineering scheme #J-18808-Ljbffr
