We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer / Senior Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor working on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for earthworks, utilities, and foundation works
- Checking holding down bolts and structural elements
- Managing and supervising site engineering activities
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
- Liaising with subcontractors, survey teams, and site management
- Maintaining accurate QA records, site documentation, and as-builts
- Supporting project delivery through technical guidance and problem solving
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Senior Engineer / Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
- Strong setting out experience using Total Station / Leica / Trimble
- Experience with earthworks, utilities, and foundation works
- Experience checking holding down bolts
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Experience working on major infrastructure or Tier 1 contractor projects
- SMSTS / SSSTS
- Relevant engineering qualification
