We’re currently looking for a hands-on Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure / utilities programme, with a focus on AMP Water frameworks.

The Opportunity

  • Immediate requirement with a start date of 20th July 2026
  • Outside IR35 – £325/day (Ltd Co)
  • Long-term programme of works with clear progression opportunities
  • Strong pathway to fast-track into a Senior Engineer position

The Role

You’ll be working on-site delivering civils and utilities works, playing a key role in the day-to-day engineering delivery. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys being in the detail of site operations rather than office-based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out and surveying for civils / infrastructure works
  • Daily site engineering support across construction activities
  • QA, as-builts and engineering documentation
  • Working closely with site teams and subcontractors
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
  • Strong background in civils, utilities or water projects
  • Experience working on structured frameworks/projects (e.g. AMP programmes, highways, rail or heavy civils)
  • Someone practical, proactive and comfortable on-site
  • Ambition to step up into a Senior Engineer role quickly
