We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor delivering major highways and structures works across the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects involving roads, bridges, retaining walls, drainage, earthworks, and reinforced concrete structures.
The Role
- Setting out and surveying for highways and structural works
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered to programme
- Producing and reviewing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records
- Supporting Site Managers and Section Engineers with day-to-day delivery
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with project specifications
- Coordinating drainage, earthworks, concrete, steelwork, and road construction activities
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects
- Strong background in both roads/highways and structures
- Proficient using Leica, Trimble, GPS, and Total Station equipment
- Experience with QA processes, ITPs, RAMS, permits, and site documentation
- Knowledge of drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete, bridges, and retaining structures
- CSCS Card essential
- SMSTS and First Aid desirable
Project Experience Desirable
- National Highways schemes
- M20, M2, M25, A2, A249 or similar major road projects
- Bridge construction and structural works
- Major infrastructure, rail, airport, or highways projects
