We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major earthworks project based in North London. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for earthworks, including cut & fill, grading, and drainage
- Managing and interpreting site drawings and specifications
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to specification
- Conducting site surveys using GPS and total station equipment
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site
- Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks or groundworks projects
- Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, excavation, and site preparation
- Proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, Total Station)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software
- CSCS card (essential)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
