Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a major package of works on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. We are looking for an individual with strong experience supervising landscaping, drainage and general civil engineering activities, who can safely coordinate site operations, drive programme delivery and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects and play a key role in delivering environmental and drainage works across multiple work fronts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising landscaping, drainage and associated civils works
  • Managing subcontractors, operatives and plant on site
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme
  • Conducting site inspections and maintaining quality standards
  • Delivering daily briefings and ensuring compliance with RAMS
  • Coordinating with site engineers, site management and client representatives
  • Maintaining strong health, safety and environmental performance across all activities

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on major civil engineering, highways, rail or infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in landscaping and drainage works
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • EUSR Utilities Passport
  • CAT & Genny Certification
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
