Site Engineer Water Projects
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Contract - £400 - £450 Per Day - PAYE/Umbrella
The Role
Carmichael UK are looking for a proactive Site Engineer with water project experience to join a busy team in Abingdon. You will be responsible for supervising on-site works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain site records and reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a site engineer in water or civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and water infrastructure.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Relevant engineering qualification (BEng/MEng or HNC/HND).
