Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major Ministry of Defence construction project in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile defence infrastructure schemet.
Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements.
- Managing and maintaining accurate site records, including QA documentation.
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and as-built information.
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme.
- Monitoring health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
- Providing technical support to site teams and project management.
- Ensuring works are carried out in line with project specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on large civil engineering or construction projects.
- Strong setting out experience using Leica, Trimble or similar equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of QA procedures and site documentation.
- CSCS Card.
- HNC/HND or Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current SC Clearance is essential due to the nature of the project.
