Carmichaels are seeking a Site Engineer to work on a Tier 1 Highways Project in South West London. Responsibilities include: As Site Engineer you will undertake site engineering control and implementation of works on site to programme, delivering them Right first Time. Production of Task Briefing Sheets and Method Statements Setting out from primary control provided by others Contribution to production of Permit to Dig, including briefing to the workforce Carries out onsite Safety Inspections and Hazard Identification and contribution to development of safe system of work The provision of sketches detailing the setting out information installed Production of as – built information & records for every element of the works involved in. Management of subcontractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress, providing direct instruction and support as necessary, such that contractual arrangements are achieved Management of quality on site, and ability to solve issues or escalate them to Section Engineer as required Production of accurate daily diary of resources, including labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and outputs
