Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile infrastructure project, supporting the successful delivery of highways and associated civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying of highways and civil engineering works
- Managing quality assurance documentation, ITPs and as-built records
- Supporting the delivery team with technical guidance and engineering solutions
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
- Raising and managing RFIs
- Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate site records
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, pavements and structures
- Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment
- CSCS Card required
- Ability to manage QA documentation and site reporting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
