We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major highway improvement scheme along the M62. This is a high-profile infrastructure project delivering junction upgrades, carriageway enhancements, and bridge works to improve one of the UK’s busiest motorways.

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the project from design development through construction and handover, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of the M62 project, managing programme, budget, and resources.
  • Oversee NEC contract administration, risk management, and commercial reporting.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and statutory stakeholders.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability, and Quality standards.
  • Engage with Highways England, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng) with extensive highways/infrastructure experience.
  • Proven track record managing projects >£25m.
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge and programme management skills (MSP/Primavera).
  • Experienced in cost control, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • CSCS card holder; SMSTS qualified; Temporary Works & lifting operations experience advantageous.
