We're actively seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a growing project team delivering major infrastructure and civil engineering schemes across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working on complex projects and being involved from planning through to delivery.
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of infrastructure and civil engineering works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Managing quality assurance and completing ITPs
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
- Supporting site management with planning and programme delivery
- Promoting a strong health & safety culture on site
About You
We're looking for candidates who have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Site Engineer
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure and civil engineering projects
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Highways
- Rail
- Utilities
- Water
- Earthworks
- Drainage
- Structures
- Strong setting out and surveying capabilities
- A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Valid CSCS card
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
