About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on an exciting FRC (Fibre Reinforced Concrete) project in Peterhead. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading Tier 1 contractor, overseeing high-quality concrete works and ensuring project standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise subcontractors’ setting out activities (you will not be responsible for setting out yourself).
- Conduct quality checks on FRC works, including reinforcement, formwork, and concrete pours.
- Coordinate and oversee concrete pours, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Support the site team in maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality checks, and works progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with FRC or concrete works.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and subcontractor management.
- Experience monitoring setting out and supervising concrete pours.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND, BEng, or equivalent) is preferred.
- CSCS card and relevant health & safety certifications.
