About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on an exciting FRC (Fibre Reinforced Concrete) project in Peterhead. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading Tier 1 contractor, overseeing high-quality concrete works and ensuring project standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise subcontractors’ setting out activities (you will not be responsible for setting out yourself).
  • Conduct quality checks on FRC works, including reinforcement, formwork, and concrete pours.
  • Coordinate and oversee concrete pours, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Support the site team in maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality checks, and works progress.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with FRC or concrete works.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and subcontractor management.
  • Experience monitoring setting out and supervising concrete pours.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND, BEng, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • CSCS card and relevant health & safety certifications.
