We are currently looking to recruit General Foreman for a major infrastructure package on the Sizewell C project. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most prestigious construction projects, supporting complex heavy civil engineering, tunnelling and confined space operations. Essential Requirements Applicants must hold a current and valid Sizewell C pass to be considered. In addition, candidates must hold: CPCS Crane Supervisor (A62) or NPORS Crane/Lift Supervisor (N405 Blue Card) SMSTS CSCS Managers & Professionals Card First Aid at Work Proven experience supervising lifting operations and contractor activities on major infrastructure projects Preferred Qualifications City & Guilds 6160-02 / 6160-09 Level 2 Award Temporary Works Supervisor Training Course (TWSTC) Additional confined space or heavy civils certifications Experience Required Successful candidates will demonstrate experience working within major infrastructure environments, including: FRC (Fibre Reinforced Concrete) works Shaft sinking operations Tunnelling projects Confined space activities Managing subcontractors and direct labour teams Issuing permits to work Coordinating lifting operations Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures, RAMS and project documentation Maintaining high standards of site safety and operational control Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate site activities in line with project requirements Ensure all lifting operations are planned and executed safely Monitor contractor performance against programme and safety requirements Issue and manage permits to work Conduct site inspections and safety briefings Drive compliance with project HSE standards Liaise with construction management, engineering teams and subcontractors Promote a positive safety culture at all times
