Site Engineer - HS2 Project - South Portal£400 per day (Inside IR35) via Umbrella/PAYE3-4 Month Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major HS2 infrastructure project on a 3-4 month contract.
This role will suit a hands‑on engineer with strong setting out experience and a solid understanding of permit controls and buried services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying for ongoing civil engineering works
- Raising and managing Permits to Dig
- Undertaking and interpreting CAT & Genny scans
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with specifications
- Maintaining site records, QA documentation and as-built information
- Liaising with site management and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- CAT & Genny Trained
- Experience raising and managing Permits to Dig
- Strong setting out skills using Leica, Trimble or similar equipment
- CSCS Card
- HS2, rail, highways, utilities or major project experience desirable

- £400 per day
