An immediate start opportunity exists for a Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience on Network Rail projects whilst working for a contractor or sub-contractor. Knowledge of the NEC4 contracts and proficient managing multiple cost reimbursement packages is sought.
Your regular duties will include:
- Oversee procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services
- Manage cost reporting, forecasts, and financial tracking
- Process payment applications and manage subcontractor accounts
- Support project teams with valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations
The requirement for this opportunity includes:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specializing in civil engineering and rail projects
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and rail industry standards and practices
- BSc/ Dip Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience of NEC forms of contract
- Proven experience managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of procurement and cost management
