We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, initially for 3 months, to support the delivery of rail projects in Liverpool.
Working as part of the commercial team, you will play a key role in the identification, preparation and management of early warnings and compensation events/change, ensuring all commercial matters are administered, priced and negotiated in accordance with contractual requirements.
Hybrid working is permitted.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prepare and manage early warnings in line with contract requirements.
Support the administration and management of change and compensation events.
Prepare, assess and negotiate change pricing.
Work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure robust commercial control.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues and support project delivery.
Maintain accurate records and commercial documentation.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the infrastructure or rail sector for UK principal contractors.
Strong experience administering and pricing change.
Ability to raise, manage and close out early warnings.
Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Rail sector experience is highly desirable.
