The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a Tier One contractor on the Sizewell C nuclear new-build project. This is a permanent, long-term position offering excellent job security and the opportunity to work on one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious infrastructure schemes.

The successful candidate will be a well-rounded Site Engineer, comfortable with both setting out on site and handling the technical / paperwork side of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out for civils and infrastructure works using GPS / total station
  • Maintaining accuracy and quality control on site
  • Completing and managing engineering paperwork, including:
    • QA documentation
    • ITPs
    • As-built records
    • Site records and technical documentation
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the design team
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong setting out experience
  • Confident with the paperwork / engineering documentation side of the role
  • Comfortable working for a Tier One contractor in a structured site environment
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience)
