We are recruiting for an experienced Construction Site Manager to join a major Tier 1 contractor delivering critical infrastructure works on the Sizewell C project.

Working within a complex civil engineering and nuclear environment, you will take responsibility for the safe planning, coordination and delivery of fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) and associated civil engineering works on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations for FRC and civil engineering activities.

Lead subcontractors, supervisors and engineering teams to deliver works safely, on programme and within budget.

Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and health & safety standards.

Coordinate concrete pours, reinforcement, structures, earthworks and associated infrastructure works.

Oversee permit systems, temporary works interfaces and construction sequencing.

Monitor progress, manage site records and provide regular reporting to senior project stakeholders.

Drive site productivity whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Support inspection, testing and handover activities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager within major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Strong background in fibre reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete structures or heavy civils.

Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or major joint venture environment.

Knowledge of large-scale infrastructure, nuclear, rail, highways, marine or energy projects.

Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

SMSTS, CSCS MAPS and First Aid qualifications preferred.

Understanding of NEC contracts and quality assurance processes would be advantageous.
