This is an excellent opportunity to secure long‑term work on one of the UK's most high‑profile aviation projects, working within a fast‑paced airport environment alongside a highly experienced delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings for civil engineering and aviation projects.
- Develop construction drawings, as‑built records, and technical documentation.
- Support engineering and delivery teams with design coordination and drawing revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with Heathrow standards, project specifications, and relevant regulations.
- Liaise with site engineers, surveyors, designers, and stakeholders to capture and incorporate design changes.
- Manage drawing registers and document control procedures.
- Assist with the production of temporary works and construction sequencing drawings where required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician within civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, rail, or aviation projects.
- Strong proficiency in Auto CAD (Civil 3D experience advantageous).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey information.
- Experience producing as‑built drawings and working in a construction environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Previous airport, airside, or major infrastructure experience would be highly desirable.
