We are seeking an experienced MEP Sub Agent to support the delivery of complex MEP works on a major project at Heathrow Airport, working for a leading main contractor. This role is ideal for a senior MEP professional with strong site leadership and coordination experience in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take day-to-day responsibility for managing MEP delivery within a defined work area
- Lead and coordinate MEP subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installation
- Plan and sequence works in line with the overall construction programme
- Ensure compliance with Heathrow Airport standards, project specifications, and statutory regulations
- Manage RAMS, permits, inspections, and quality assurance processes
- Coordinate MEP activities with construction, logistics, and commissioning teams
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover to the client
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Promote a strong health & safety culture on site
Requirements
- Proven experience in an MEP Sub Agent, Senior Engineer, or MEP Site Management role
- Background working with a main contractor on large infrastructure or complex building projects
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and work interfaces
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a live or operational environment (aviation, rail, healthcare desirable)
- Heathrow Airport experience or security clearance (advantageous but not essential)
