We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Section Engineer to join a leading main contractor delivering a high-profile project at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, fast-paced aviation infrastructure within a secure and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) works within your assigned section
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
- Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, and architectural teams
- Review and manage drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements
- Ensure compliance with Heathrow Airport standards, project specifications, and UK regulations
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes
- Monitor quality, progress, and cost control within your section
- Promote and maintain high health & safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Proven experience as an MEP or Section Engineer with a main contractor
- Experience on large infrastructure projects (aviation, rail, healthcare, or major commercial preferred)
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and construction sequencing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work within a highly regulated environment
- Heathrow Airport experience or security clearance (desirable but not essential)
