Carmichael UK are seeking a Graduate or Junior Civil Engineer (1–2 years’ experience) to join a cycleway infrastructure project in Slough. This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career looking to gain hands-on site experience, with ongoing training and development provided.

  • Duration: 9 months initial (potentially ongoing)
  • Rate: £280/day (Umbrella PAYE)

Role Overview:

  • Supporting site engineers with day-to-day engineering duties
  • Assisting with setting out, QA, and site documentation
  • Working alongside senior engineers and site teams
  • Gaining exposure to highways / cycleway and infrastructure works

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering
  • 0–2 years’ experience (site placement or post-grad)
  • Keen to learn and develop within civil engineering
  • CSCS card (or willing to obtain)
