Carmichael UK are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Gloucestershire. We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer with a strong background in earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages to support delivery on a high-profile scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering delivery across earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages
  • Oversee bulk earthworks (cut & fill, embankments, formation)
  • Manage delivery of deep drainage, culverts and attenuation systems
  • Coordinate landscaping and environmental works
  • Supervise Site Engineers and subcontractors
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality and HSE standards
  • Manage ITPs, QA documentation and as-built records

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Section Engineer / Senior Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in earthworks, drainage and/or landscaping
  • Experience working with Tier 1 contractors
  • Strong knowledge of engineering standards, QA processes and site delivery
  • Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple work packages
  • CSCS card and relevant qualifications
  • Right to work in the UK
