We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a contractor working on a large-scale earthworks package at Sizewell C.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale civils programme involving bulk earthworks, mass haul, and heavy infrastructure works within a Tier 1 delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out for bulk earthworks, cut & fill, and associated civils works
- Manage survey control, QA documentation, and as-built records
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme and specification
- Support site management with daily site operations and coordination
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
- Assist with method statements, ITPs, and temporary works coordination
Requirements
- Experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer on heavy civils projects
- Strong background in earthworks, groundworks, or bulk excavation
- Proficient with total station / GPS equipment
- Understanding of QA processes and documentation
- Experience working for Tier 1 contractors or on major projects (e.g. highways, rail, nuclear, large infrastructure schemes)
