An inside IR35 opportunity exists for a Senior Commercial Manager who has had extensive experience overseeing the commercials, and the commercial teams, on large infrastructure projects for tier one civil engineering Contractors. Your ability to hit the ground running by coordinating the team whilst effectively interacting with the stakeholders on large GBP100m plus projects is sought. Not only does this opportunity draw on your collaboration skills, but it also expects you to quickly build relationships and to gain the confidence of your team.
Requirements for this opportunity:
- BSc Quantity Surveying and professional membership of RICS, CIOB or ICES
- Extensive experience on large infrastructure projects (HS2, HPC, Sellafield, Highways, Rail etc) for tier one UK civil engineering Contractor
- Previous long-term experience, as a Commercial Manager, on the above-mentioned category of projects
- Proficient with the use of the NEC suite of contracts
- Proven leadership and management ability
- The ability to provide guidance and support on such issues as contract conditions
- Represent the Company in contract negotiations and meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with other stakeholders and be a key member of the management team
