We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project on the HS2 route.
Project Details: This role will support Backfill operations, working across multiple active work areas in Buckinghamshire.
Contract Length: Approx. 6 months (with potential extension)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily compliance surveys across 4β6 active gangs/work areas
- Process and manage survey data accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all setting out and surveying activities meet project specifications and standards
- Coordinate with site teams to maintain smooth operational delivery
Requirements:
- Strong setting out and surveying experience within civil engineering projects
- Excellent working knowledge of LSS software and Propeller
- Competent with Trimble equipment (own equipment beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to work independently across multiple work fronts
- Own 4x4 vehicle preferred
