An excellent opportunity, inside IR35, for a traditional Site Agent that can demonstrate the ability to effectively deliver major heavy civil structures, for a tier one principal Contractor. Previous experience as a Site Agent that has progressed through the Site Engineering route is sought. Experience managing a nominated subcontractor constructing reinforced concrete bridges, viaducts, retaining walls etc would be advantageous.
Duties include:
- Drive the delivery to ensure the delivery dates are met.
- Manage the delivery team including subcontractors.
- Report on the costs and progress.
- Ensuring safety and quality is adhered to.
- Maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements for this post include:
- Must have progressed from a Site Engineer to Agent for a tier one or principal Contractor.
- Must have similar experience for a UK contractor on a JV type project.
- A proven record of taking projects from beginning to hand over.
- Excellent staff management and motivation ability.
- Solid civil engineering construction sequencing ability.
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and any other accreditations like AP, TWC etc.
