Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major section of the HS2 programme in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Tier 1 contractor on one of the largest and most complex civil engineering projects currently underway in the UK.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major earthworks and drainage packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works
- Managing earthworks and drainage activities on site
- Producing and reviewing RAMS and ITPs
- Quality assurance and recording works completed
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications and health & safety requirements
- Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects
- Strong background in earthworks and drainage
- Competent with Leica and/or Trimble equipment
- Experience producing QA documentation and site records
- CSCS Card essential
- Full right to work in the UK
