We are currently seeking an experienced Site/Setting Out Engineer to join a project based on an RAF facility in Oxford. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a variety of groundworks and civil engineering packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works across the project.
- Supporting and managing groundworks packages.
- Setting out for pit and duct installations.
- Overseeing and checking drainage works.
- Supporting foundation installation and associated infrastructure.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining quality control and accurate records.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site or Setting Out Engineer within the civil engineering or groundworks sector.
- Strong understanding of:
- Groundworks packages
- Pit and duct works
- Drainage systems
- Foundation installation
- Competent in the use of surveying equipment (GPS and Total Station).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- CSCS card essential.
- Security clearance or the ability to obtain clearance may be required due to the nature of the project.
