Carmichael UK are looking to recruit an experienced Utilities Coordinator to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering works on the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire. This is a key role supporting the coordination of utility diversions and interfaces across a major infrastructure package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate utility diversion works in line with programme requirements
- Liaise with Statutory Undertakers and third-party asset owners
- Support the design interface to ensure utility designs are buildable and compliant
- Manage permits, consents, and approvals for utility works
- Review and track utility designs, drawings, and documentation
- Interface with construction teams to ensure smooth delivery of works
- Monitor progress and resolve clashes or constraints across multiple work fronts
- Ensure all works are delivered safely and in accordance with project standards
Requirements:
- Experience as a Utilities Coordinator on major infrastructure or civils projects
- Previous HS2 or Tier 1 contractor experience (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of utility diversions (water, gas, electric, telecoms)
- Experience dealing with Statutory Undertakers and third-party stakeholders
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- CSCS card (essential)
