We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer for the team at Hinkley Point C. This is a key role supporting the delivery of major infrastructure works on one of the UK’s largest construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering works, supervising site teams, and ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of road and associated civil works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support engineering and site teams during backshift operations.
  • Oversee road construction and related works, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage setting out, quality assurance, and site documentation.
  • Coordinate with other site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
  • Provide technical support, mentoring, and leadership to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Section Engineer with a strong background in road construction.
