We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Oxford, delivering a bridge construction over a live rail environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Tier 1 contractor on a complex, high-profile scheme with long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for bridge and associated civil works
- Ensuring all works are delivered safely within a live rail environment
- Managing QA/QC, ITPs, and site documentation
- Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
- Supporting site management with planning and daily operations
- Ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards and project specifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on bridge or rail projects
- Experience working on or near live rail environments (essential)
- Strong setting out skills and familiarity with surveying equipment
- Knowledge of Network Rail standards and procedures
- CSCS card (essential)
- PTS (preferred)
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline
