Carmel College is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will provide essential support in the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and eager to begin or continue a career in education.
As part of the apprenticeship you will be required to attend Darlington College once per week. Working under the direct supervision of the class teacher, you will assist with day‑to‑day classroom activities, support pupils with their learning, and help maintain a safe and orderly environment. Your duties may include:
