The person appointed would be expected to:

  • Support the College SENCO to strategically lead the direction and development of support for Level 3 students with SEND and ensure they are supported to reach their full potential.
  • Support the work of the SENCO to raise standards of Level 3 student attainment and achievement.
  • Lead on the daily operational duties for the ALS team.
  • Liaise with external agencies to support students with SEND.
  • Deputise for the College SENCO when necessary.
  • Work with the College SENCO to support the re‑integration of Level 3 students who are experiencing a period of school refusal or lesson avoidance.

Salary Information:

  • Closing date: 10 am on Thursday 11th June 2026, we reserve the right to close this vacancy before this date.
  • Start date: 25th August 2026
  • Contract: Established, 36 hours per week, term time only + 1 additional week
  • Salary: Point 18 to 19 - £35,395 to £37,734 per annum (payable £29,132.81 to £31,057.98 per annum depending on experience)
